BrilliantStep™ Imagematting is printed with a patented dye-injection process that is entirely computer controlled. Microjets inject dye deep into the strand of carpet pile for long-lasting vibrant color, unlike traditional screen-printing, which adds color to only the tips of the fibers and fades over time.
This process enables us to create designs at 20th gauge or the equivalent of 400 dots per square inch, while most average tufted logo mats are printed at the 8th gauge or the equivalent of 64 dots per square inch. The result is much higher design clarity and photo-realistic quality.
The mat itself is made from a high quality 24 ounce nylon fiber with a Nitrile rubber backing. Rubber grippers on the underside of the mat minimize movement.
Unmatched Design Capabilities
The patented dye technology of BrilliantStep™ Imagematting allows for an astounding color palette of 189 base colors! And with additional blending and shading capabilities, we can achieve over 700 shades of color! Most competitive mats offer only 18 – 32 base colors.
